Construction - Galleria Del Sur

Work commenced on the gallery on April 8th, 2007. It was designed in conjunction with the
client by Best Value Construction. It was a teardown building that we are renovating
into a multi-use cultural community space. The estimated time for completion of this
project is 6-8 weeks. The walls were stripped of the original wooden planks which were
refurbished, refitted and then covered with sheet rock. We constructed a kitchen/classroom
space behind the gallery. One bathroom was added with the pipes laid for an additional
bathroom if necessary. The front of the building is stucco, and the artwork inside will
be lit with track lighting. The patio in the back is being converted into a theatre/community
gathering space.
