Testimonials
I consider Joey Mintz a very capable project manager. Joey has excellent communication
skills (fluent in Spanish and English) and he is responsive and dedicated to serving his
clients, searching out the best solutions and often coming up with creative, innovative,
and cost saving ideas for a project. He will go to bat for you to seek out competitive
bidding and negotiate with vendors .
-Robert Englund, San Francsico, California
Mr Mintz stayed within budget unless changes were approved by me. In fact, he did far more
than was requested. The building has been transformed into a gallery in which the people of
San Juan del Sur can take joy and pride.
I do not hesitate to highly recommend him. If and when we do another building project in Nicaragua,
the project manager will be Joey Mintz.

"I work with what clients dream for a home and balance that with their budget to create a final product that
is designed for their wants and needs that flows with the natural terrain. I start the process by building a
dialogue about homes they like and styles that they want to incorporate into their home. I work with what the
client desires and merge their vision with what their property allows to incorporate viewing angles and climate
conditions, into logical floor plans that are specially designed for each individual client. During this process,
we discuss any possible budget restraints and preferred material choices. After the basic floor plans are decided
upon and a budget made, we draw up all the structural plans while simultaneously beginning any necessary land
movements. And if the client so decides, we provide architectural renderings of his future home.
I like to keep the client overly informed every step of the way providing pictures every week during construction.
I know that it can be difficult task to attempt to build a home in your own country, much less in another, and I
try to present as much information as I possibly can throughout the entire process from the preliminary designs
until the key goes in your hand.
For clients with bigger dreams and looking for a return on their investment with a development, I provide a one-stop
solution for getting their project off the ground. Developments need planning to bring a vague idea into a concrete
vision. And studies and permits to bring that vision into physical reality. BVC works with clients to maximize their
return on the investment while obeying all government regulations and environmental considerations."

Rancho Cecilia
On a 4.25 acre property off the chocolate we are halfway through the process
of building a totally self-sufficient compound. The demands of the site
require a well, off the grid power, and vehicular access to the public
road. The caretaker home which is 600sqft will be done by the end of October...
Alternative Energy
In Nicaragua today, energy is an issue. The national system is over capacity,
and is being run by an international company that is a bureaucratic nightmare.
Rolling brownouts are common for up to 8 hours a day. Power surges that run
through the system destroy delicate electrical equipment. And it is expensive,
costing over 26 cents ...

Once the lots are registered, the infrastructure infusion will begin. The roads will be paved
with material in the style of Rancho Santana. We expect road ...

This cabana was designed by the Best Value Construction team. The difficulty in this project
was the location of the property; Being over 20 (very difficult) miles away from electricity
and supplies. However, we completed the construction of the cabana in the estimated time of
4 weeks. This cabana will now be the home ...
